HOLLY'S BIG DAY
Holly’s wedding morning was calm, sunny and beautifully chilled – the kind of spring day you cross your fingers for. With just four makeups to do, we started at a very civilised 8:30am (a rare treat!) and had the luxury of time and space. Godwick Hall was the perfect setting – full of natural light, with separate rooms for hair and makeup so no one was on top of each other and I didn’t have to shout over hairdryers.
Holly had booked my VIP package, which came in seriously handy after a smoke cannon mishap covered her face, dress and veil in red dust. Thankfully, I always carry chalk in my emergency kit and it absolutely saved the day. Holly, who’s a midwife, was totally unfazed by the drama. I guess when you deliver babies for a living, not much throws you!

HOLLY'S LOOK
the vibe
The whole morning was relaxed, light-hearted and full of those lovely in-between moments that make a wedding morning special. Holly was calm, happy and clearly so ready to marry her person. With the sun shining, music on and the bridal party enjoying the prep, it felt like one of those mornings where everything aligned just right.
Godwick Hall is full of character – the kind of place that feels grand but still cosy. Everyone had their space to get ready comfortably, and having the separate areas for glam made the flow of the morning feel effortless.
the makeup
Holly went for my signature Masonic Glow – soft golden tones, a natural lip, and individual lashes for subtle definition. Her look was warm, radiant and perfectly suited to her spring setting. We kept things cohesive across the bridal party too – her bridesmaids had similar soft glam looks and her sister loved hers so much she’s already booked me for her own wedding in 2026.
When Holly needed a post-ceremony touch-up after the smoke cannon incident, it was the VIP package to the rescue. A quick refresh and a little chalk magic, and she was photo-ready once again.

A NOTE FROM HOLLY
"I am so pleased I chose Hannah to do mine, the bridesmaids and MOB makeup on my wedding day. Hannah was so easy to book and regularly checked in leading up to the wedding day. I had a trial where I was able to ensure I was happy, which Hannah then ensured all details were replicated on the wedding day. Hannah was not just a makeup artist but was also there helping with bouquets and having photos taken! She even ran back to find chalk after a wedding dress accident! Thank you so much for being our makeup artist, making us all feel beautiful and helping throughout the day."
