MELISSA'S BIG DAY
Melissa’s wedding took place at Hockwold Hall – a 16th-century Grade II listed manor house that couldn’t have been more perfect for her elegant, intimate day. With makeup just for Melissa and one bridesmaid, it was a relaxed 10am start, which felt like a real treat.
Melissa had booked my VIP package, which meant I was there not just for makeup, but to help with all the little extras too. From helping her with her dress and accessories, to holding her bouquet during photos and even cutting tags out of dresses – I was on hand for whatever was needed, giving her total peace of mind so she could just enjoy the morning.
With a smaller guest list, the atmosphere was warm, calm and personal. Everyone was present and focused on what really mattered. And for a March wedding, the weather couldn’t have been kinder – it was surprisingly warm, which made everything feel that bit more magical.

There was something so special about the stillness of this morning – a slower pace, space to breathe and time to take it all in. The setting at Hockwold Hall added grandeur and charm, while the small guest count made it feel incredibly personal. Melissa was calm, excited and totally present, which set the tone for the rest of the day.
It was a reminder that you don’t need a huge group to have an unforgettable morning – sometimes less really is more.

Melissa was super chilled and gave me full creative trust, which meant we could build a look that felt both timeless and totally her. She went for my signature Masonic Glow – glowing skin, a soft shimmery eye with individual lashes, and a pink-nude lip that was flattering and wearable.
The result was polished, radiant and elegant – the kind of makeup that she’ll love just as much in 10 years' time when she looks back at her photos.
It was all about enhancing her natural beauty and giving her that confidence boost without ever feeling overdone.

The makeup for my wedding was amazing, I felt so beautiful and it lasted right up until about 2am in the morning when we decided to call it a night! I had her for the whole day and not only did she do an amazing job with my bridesmaid’s makeup and my makeup, she was so incredibly helpful with everything else during the day like holding my flowers, helping me get my shoes on and off and also helping with my dress and accessories!
