ANGEL'S BIG DAY
Angel’s wedding was one of those magical days I’ll never forget. The kind of wedding where you feel like you’ve stepped onto a movie set – but with more champagne, more dancing, and a bridal party with serious moves (the choreographed first dance was next level – I genuinely wanted to join in).
Angel and her husband flew over from San Francisco to celebrate with friends and family, and her bridal party came from all corners of the globe to be there. Despite the weather being a little hit and miss, the atmosphere was nothing short of electric. She had two dresses, two hairstyles, and one very clear vision: a fun, elegant, beautifully choreographed day surrounded by the people she loved most.
It was the sort of wedding I secretly wish I’d been invited to as a guest… live illustrations, a champagne bar, a killer band, and the most joyful, relaxed energy from start to finish. And I got to be right in the heart of it all.

the vibe
Set against the stunning backdrop of The Old Hall Ely, this day was equal parts luxe and laid-back. The venue was a total dream – big skies, countryside views, and beautiful natural light flooding in through the windows (a makeup artist’s dream!). With 21 makeup services booked in, it was an early start – but the room was full of excitement and calm organisation. No flapping, no stress, just a brilliantly planned morning surrounded by laughter, playlists, and prosecco.

Angel knew exactly how she wanted to feel – glowy, timeless, and totally herself. Her makeup look was soft and golden with a luminous base, gentle shimmer on the eyes, fluttery individual lashes, and a glossy lip to finish. It was the kind of glam that photographs beautifully but still feels relaxed in person. Her makeup held up perfectly all day, through the happy tears, the hugs, the weather, and all the dancing. And most importantly, she felt incredible.
